Workplace Empowerment
&
Family Structures

Three interconnected one-day workshops to bring positive transformation into two essential important areas of our daily lives: work & relationships.

Workplace Empowerment (Part 1)

On this day we will be exploring the positions we have found ourselves in the organisational structure of the business we work in. Whether we work for ourselves or for a large organisation, we are always interacting with other people in our work lives. As a by-product of being in an organisation is that there always some form of structure and hierarchy. There are advantages and disadvantages of every position in a structure. The leader at the top may enjoy many benefits of comfort, wealth and power but suffers from fear of losing control. The one at the bottom can enjoy less responsibility but suffers from lack of opportunity and insecurity.

Our work life automatically triggers issues of material wealth, power, success, creative potentiality and self-fulfilment. Yet it also includes themes of personal interactions with colleagues, clients and customers thus trust and betrayal issues might also arise.

Keys to understand workplace mechanisms and our place in the organisations can come from surprisingly varied sources. On this first day we will access the ancient wisdom of the Chakra Energy System, the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and their corresponding Tarot cards. These ancient wisdom systems actually can indicate natural forms of organisation structures that can form a background to which we can then see whether we have found our best position in our work structure or whether are out of place.

Date & Time: 26th December 2018 (Wednesday -- Public Holiday) -- 10am to 6pm

Workplace Empowerment (Part 2)

On this day we employ the more modern methodologies of Organisational/Occupational Psychology. Using a Psychodynamic approach to reveal how our childhood conditioning has formed psychological imprints that influence how we work, our attitude to material and individual achievement and whether we can truly access our creative potential. Do the past situations in which our parents worked in still echo into our present life? Do conditioned beliefs that we received from our family actually hinder our own abilities and prevent us actualising our potentials?

According to Awakening Psychology, mental cognition of our childhood conditioning may not be enough to remove its hindering effects, we also need to access our natural life-energy to remove energetic blockages in our physical and emotional bodies. Energetic breakthrough are needed before we can manifest our full potential and get onto the right track in the journey of our life mission.

Date & Time: 29th December 2018 (Saturday) -- 10am to 6pm

Family Therapy – Family Structures

Continuing with the Awakening Psychology approach of Psychodynamics, we will explore how our family of origin affects our personal and intimate relationships in our adult life. When we were little children, we observed our parents and their relationship to each other as a role-model of what is love. Theirs’ was the first male-female intimate relationship that we were exposed to. The image of their positive or negative expression of love and affection has become imprinted into our psyches. A further imprint has come from experiencing our position in the family structure. The roles assigned to an eldest brother are different to the youngest daughter. Families typically gives conventional roles to each child according to the order they are born in and their gender. These childhood experiences have become introjected into our subconsciousness, thus we do not realise how we continue to recreate our original family structure and our parents relationship style onto our own adult intimate relationship.

According to this concept, we expect our intimate life partner, to be a parent-surrogate and fulfil our unsatisfied emotional needs. This causes tensions in our love relationships as we are trying to make our beloved into someone they are not.

Conscious relationships are possible, if we understand both our own and our beloved’s childhood conditioning, then the darkness of our joint unconsciously stored childhood memories do not need to haunt and distort our love. We can find compassion for each other and create a loving and supportive relationship.
